Some say BWRT is the therapy of the tomorrow today…and it is fair to say that it might help you get the life of tomorrow today!
BrainWorking Recursive Therapy¬ģ is a new model of psychology and psychotherapy that embraces the latest¬†thinking on neuroscience and psychological health. It is determinedly solution-focused and in the hands of a¬†trained practitioner can help provide a speedy and permanent solution for many mind-related difficulties
however stubborn or deep-rooted they might seem to be.
BWRT¬ģ is a proven safe therapy even when working with children and allows you to “reprogram” your life.
BWRT¬ģ allows you to privately communicate directly with the part of your brain that is normally ahead of your conscious thinking. BWRT uses natural thought processes to resolve issues and there is no other therapy in the world that is the same as BWRT.
BWRT¬ģ‚Äô stands for ‚ÄėBrainWorking Recursive Therapy¬ģ‚Äô, a modern model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It uses a totally logical, practical and down-to-earth working method in which it‚Äôs not necessary for you to talk about anything you would rather not discuss ‚Äď the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT¬ģ is unlike any other therapy you might have heard of or read about, using the latest discoveries in neuroscience coupled with your own unique brain processes to help you get better. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT¬ģ and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org
What happens in a session
The ¬†BWRT¬ģ the practitioner will ask you a few questions about your background and what has brought you to see them –¬†you¬†will not be asked ¬†to reveal any secrets or intimate details of your life. This therapy is totally private ¬†in which you only have to be able to tell the practitioner how you feel and how you would like to feel instead. For instance, you might say something like:¬†“Social situations scare me half to death!” and the practitioner would then ask if you can think how you would like to feel instead. If you can, they will get straight to work; if you can’t, they will help you decide – and again¬†you will never have to reveal any details you really don’t want to.
It really is that simple and that private!
BWRT¬ģ is it’s own unique therapy as¬†it is ¬†science-based, totally grounded methodology that deals with uncomfortable emotional or psychological triggers before you are even aware of them. It isn’t¬†hypnosis or anything that might be considered to be mystical or unscientific. ¬†Most other therapies work on the response¬†after it has been generated, requiring you to tell the practitioner what you’re thinking about – but with¬†BWRT¬ģ the problem is dealt with ‘at source’, before it even gets to the conscious mind.¬†
BWRT¬ģ sessions are safe, private, and confidential. Sessions¬†can be conducted in person or via Skype.
How it works
The practitioner will explain fully how the process works and although, as in all work of this sort, you have a vital part to play in the process, it is a very easy part – in fact you will have to do very little more than keep focused on how you want to be when the work is complete… and that could be the same day you started and for many people often in a single session!
Practitioner Certification
All BrainWorking Recursive Therapy¬ģ professional therapists have been properly trained in this specific therapy and hold certification to show this. If a therapist does not hold such certification, they may have not been officially trained by the Institute of BrainWorking Recursive Therapy¬†and may¬†not be genuine BWRT¬†Professionals. Also, look for the ‘Certified BWRT¬ģ Practitioner’ seal on websites and promotional materials.
